Facebook Inc (NASDAQ:FB)’s Instagram has added quirky face-tracking filters in its new update that lets users dress up their faces in different on-screen objects, including koala ears and sunglasses. The update also includes a rewind mode for videos that will enable users to play video in reverse.
The company stated in a blogpost that ‘’to see our initial set of eight face filters, simply open the camera and tap the new face icon in the bottom right corner.”
Social network giant Facebook has been adding more features in Instagram to take on competitor Snapchat. It has already introduced a number of Snapchat-like features such as Stories, which enables users to upload videos and images that automatically disappear after 24 hours.
Facebook Inc (FB) shares are currently trading at $149.81. The 52-week range of the stock is $108.23-$153.60. The stock has performed quite well so far this year by surging about 30 percent. The company’s market cap is $433.73 billion.
